Hello Jennifer,
Sometimes it really makes me wonder if the BLM people are snickering
when they issue those permits for two so distinctly different groups to
be using the same trails at the same time. The same thing happened on
the High Desert 55 on one of the years I worked it. We had offroaders
going right through our hour hold at Mountain Wells in the Stillwater
Mountains (Nevada). Neither one of the groups knew the other would be
there until it actually happened. All worked out well though. You
should've seen the looks on the faces of the offroaders when they came
over that hill and into our little "horsie town". Just when you think
you're way away from civilization....hehe.
