One idea that I have seen during the years I managed the Graves Mtn rides
came from Jeannie Waldron. When she vetted horses in she had someone
taking temperatures while they were on deck. She felt like this would help
screen out some (not all) potential health problems. I thought it was a
pretty good idea and none of the riders objected because they understood
and appreciated the purpose.
