I'll pass that one along to my friend who has trouble getting her
husband out of the truck when they go to rides. <g> He's a bit sour,
and it didn't take him long to figure out he could postpone work if he
stayed put!
Seriously though, I had another idea that might work for this problem.
If you're not in a hurry to get the horse out, you could set up a
portable corral behind the trailer and tie the door to a panel to keep
it open. Just put his hay and water in the corral and go sit down and
have a sandwich while you watch him figure it out. Sometimes I think
the human factor is just too much to deal with when a horse is trying to
