My ex-stallion--now Tina Hicks stallion, but soon to be gelding:-) Has a
full brother that is fully gaited. It looks funny, like he is very
rough, but I rode him, and felt instantly that he was doing a gait, not a
walk, trot, or canter. It was nice. Embers does not do that, and so
far, none of his offspring have showed signs of it either.
I know that Desert Embers is a Grandson of *Bask, and also a Grandson of
Gai Marquis, who is strait from the Gainey farm. I have no idea which
line produced it, but have heard that several lines have shown signs of
the natural gait.
