Hi Teddy -

I know you have probably never seen my horses on trail, as you
are always far ahead! ;*) My horses are both gaited, and that
is what they do on trail. They are amazingly agile on narrow
twisting trails - at the Hewitt the Hermit ride this fall, we
left a lot of people behind as our horses were able to maintain
their speed over the uneven terrain. They always have at least
1 foot on the ground, and surprisingly enough just seem to glide
over the assorted roots, rocks, logs and other unevenly spaced
trail hazards without missing a beat...

Just my experience...
