With regards to the future of endurance riding, it's probably important to keep your
own personal goals in perspective. Many enthusiast participate in endurance for a
variety of reasons; personal fullfillment, comraderie with friends, the sights,
sounds and smells of the outdoors, and yes the competition.

And guess what. It's a hobby that doesn't come cheap. Horse care/feeding,
trailering, entry fees, tack, and on, and on, and ...........

As some great scholar has probably said along the way, "If it wasn't for the human
element, everyting would probably be okay". Let's back to enjoyin' the sport, and
what you want to make of it!
