A few months ago I wrote the list regarding comments on the SS and has been
a month now since I have gotten my sport saddle. I had promised a few
people I would get back to them and let them know how it is working for me
but can't remember who all I spoke to, so responding with an open letter.
I bought the saddle sight unseen from HorseWorks and Genie was great in
helping me get it, had to wait quite awhile for it but it was well worth it.
So far my horse seems to really like it and his back has never looked
better. Since it is the end of ride season, I have not had a chance to do
any long rides in the saddle yet but found in the 14" seat the stirrups to
be perfectly balanced for me. In fact, it is the first saddle that I felt
truly balanced in. It seems to fit his withers perfectly as well. I had
ordered the style with the reiner pommel and higher cantle for more security
but was not sure what it was going to look like.
I hope this information helps those who wanted to know what I thought of the
saddle...in fact if there is some of you that would love to get a saddle for
under the Christmas tree or would just like to see one, Karen Chaton on the
list DreamWeaver <karen@chaton.gardnerville.nv.us> is a SS distributer and I
know she has a couple right now (14 1/2 and 15" seat and more on the way).

cover that totally covers my SS made by Tammy on our list for Karen's saddles.
I love it! So toasty warm this time of the year and is made really well. The
covers can be ordered thru Karen too.
