Gees Tom! Just when I made a promise to myself not to buy ANYMORE books until
I read the pile on the floor first , you send in the tempting goodies!
Thanks for including some of Dr. Buccis' writing in your post. His easy
reading style clinched it for me. Teddy, if you cannot find it, e-mail me as
I am sure I will be able to order it through my local Barnes and Noble. ( I
order through them lots) Sometimes if they have trouble getting it, they
will give me the publishers # and I order directly. ( this was real
interesting one day when the publisher answered his phone...and he was the
author too....got a signed copy that day!) Any info usable for the list I
will post. Teddy, your comments on Arabs as ex-racehorses brought back
memories. My first horse, Wameco, is now being ridden by Cindy Bell. When I
bought him from Waldron Farms , he had placed third on the track, and Bill
retires everything that doesn't place first. "Meko" was a little thin, but
REAL racey, and needed lots of "re-training" after I broke my wrist falling
off of him. He was way too much for me, which is why Cindy is doing so well
on him now. I always wondered how an Arab bred for racing (today not in
Bedouin times) , would compare to other Arabs not bred for racing to day,
would it make a difference?
