Place to ride

Well...if you have no good place to ride as I no longer do next to my home,
do what we do, trailer out every time you want to ride.

It is a royal pain in the a_ _ , but in So Cal, space is at a premium. The
stupid city folk around here don't want biodegradeable waste in their
"yards", and I guess clip-clop is making too much noise. I have been
almost run over by city-folk drivers!!!

One day, I was driving to town in my truck, and on the right side of the
road was a lady riding and ponying a young horse. I slowed down, and passed
wide left ( not over the center line ). The nim-nose behind me passed
BETWEEN us!!!!!!

I was so upset, I checked with the rider, she was OK, and I caught up with
the IDIOT in the car-lights flashing, and honking. She stopped only for the
stopsign, but I managed to get out and confront her, I can't say I was proud
of the WAY I said it, but I think I got my point across, that this priss
didn't really want 2000 lbs of horse flesh in her back seat, and if she
didn't drive more carefully around the horse, she could move back to the
city RIGHT NOW. I think I shook for an hour, I was so mad.

At any rate, we trailer out to the National park about 15 Mi away. Nearly
unlimited trails. And I don't have to worry about getting down the trail
like I do getting down the street.

Boy are my horses good at trailering! In and Out...In and Out

Sorry this was so long. Trails are getting harder and harder to find and keep.

We all need to help preserve the ones we have.
