the fact that only 160 of the 600 or so members belong to
the aerc should not be taken as lack of support for the organization
but more as an indication of the wide audience the web really addresses.
i would suspect that many of the 440 members simply are not
in the US and don't see the advantages(at $65/year) of belonging
to an organization whose services they cannot use. of course there
are others in the US on the list that are not members but still
like to read the mail and learn
