Hi Susan,
I have to agree with the vote for NO CASH PRIZES one of the main reasons
I became interested in this sport is the fact that it's for "amateurs"
as well as "professionals". Everyone I've ever met involved with this
sport have been so helpful and kind I can't believe that that attitude
would continue if there was a cash prize offered. Another thing about
endurance racing I love is you can take a $800.00 horse and with hard
work and conditioning you can finish a 100 mile race! Some of us can't
afford $10,000 horses.
