I think the fact that we are a representative cross section of AERC is more
important than total numbers.
If, in the near future, anyone cares to "ditto" any sentiments expressed on
the topic of CASH AWARDS, please DO NOT SEND THEM TO THE ENDURANCE GROUP,
send them to me, e-mail below, and I will be sure they are passed along to
Susan Evans for inclusion to AERC.
Thanks!

linda,
out of the 600 or so on the listserv - only about 160 seem to be
aerc members from the survey i did sometime ago. and i was being
slightly generous inb my counting.
we are a very vocal group - and likely get more attention due
to the forum - but out of some 5400 aerc members - we are a pretty
small group.
i support steph in not encouraging more of the ditto stuff. even
if everyone of the aerc members on the listserv supports the
view of no cash - this is still only about 3% of the membership.
i think having a representative set of views from us is fine
but additional numbers really are not.
i have not publicised the fact that such a small portion of
the list are aerc members because it made us look like a group
that was not aerc oriented.

mike

btw - this is not to mean that i don't support most of the views
expressed but the digests are getting long...
