I was glad to see that the thread on Tteam bits became a logical
discussion on how the bit works and caveats for its use. In far to many
riding disciplines, if a well known rider is successful w/ a
particualr bit, saddle, etc., then everyone adopts the use of the
item without remembering that the success was due in large part to
the rider & the ability of the horse!

The online endurance community is to be commended. The discussion
could have turned into a who's who list attached to items of tack!
