My .02 on the shade issue at camp. At first I thought about all the ways to
improve my camp. Now I think about the ways to simplify it. I arrive Friday
afternoon or evening, ride the 50 plus all day Saturday, trailer home Saturday
evening or Sunday morning. There really isn't much time to enjoy the shade. And
I find enough things I have to do without creating more.
The 65 mile Poppy ride Saturday was tough. My Avocet showed 10,000 feet of
climbing and lots of narrow, winding single track trail. And then there was the
wind as Becky mentioned. But the views were beautiful and the company good so
it was well worth it.
