Hi everybody,
I'm interested to your experience about the temperature system in order to
detect the foaling time.
I was told by a friend that by taking the temperature in the morning and in
the evening you could detect that your mare will probably foal soon as soon
as the t=B0 has decreased by +- 1=B0.(I'm speaking about celsius=
degrees...).
Does any of you have some experience with that? Is is really accurate.

I have an arabian mare,Batida Bint Shaber, crabbet/egyptian, 10 Year old, in
foal for the first time. She was bred the 10 of mai last year. I was
expecting the foaling for the 10th of april. We are the 24 and no news. I'm
putting every day the babyphone in her stall, bandaging the tail, etc... but
nothing is happening.=20
I read in a US book about arabians (don't remember the author) that 310-360
days of gestation is considered to be normal.
What do you think about that?

Thanks in advance (from Belgim under the spring sunshine)
