I'm going to try a set this week. I have two friends who started
using them this year. They both did a 50 miler on shoes that were
2-3 weeks old. The Equithotics on the front showed no wear after
the ride, the steel shoes on the rear were worn almost completely
through - it was a gravelly ride. They are both going to 'Sneakers'
on all 4's now. They both said it made a big difference in the
way their horses moved too. Plus they've been riding through serious
mud and snow and haven't lost one yet.

You don't shape them to the horse's feet - you basically rasp them
down until they are the right shape.

I'd love to hear from anyone else who has tried them. They are quite
thick compared to steel shoes, I have to wonder if that would make
a difference ...

(I have a friend who is a dealer, if you have more specific questions
I can direct them to him)
