I have had a large number of problems w/ my four year old arab gelding.
Most of them were solved using natural horsemanship techinques. Even=
though
he gets hot sometimes we have gotten beyond the point where he disobeys
becuase of it and I now ride him in nothing but a halter. Unfortunately...
the halter has begun to rub his tender little arab head raw in places.
Putting "fuzzies" will not solve this one becuase the nylon rubs=
all over
since it is a halter and fits loosely. I am looking for a contraption=
that
will provide me with a very mild action (like a halter) that won't=
cause
him discomfort. A bosal would be too stif, and a hacamore too severe.=
I
know I'm just not thinking of something=8A but I don't know what.=
He isn't
compatible with a bit.
