Re: [RC] Sweet corn at a vet check - Susan Garlinghouse
Almost any of the 'succulent' vegetables are fine as a treat, or as
something to get the horse to eat his other goodies. I wouldn't want to see
corn as the sole source of food as a check (a bit high in concentrated
starches for my taste), but just fine as a 'condiment'.

Subject: [RC] Sweet corn at a vet check
Hi folks,
Anybody out there feed sweet corn as a treat at a vet check? I saw someone
doing this recently (the horse LOVED it) and wondered if there were any pros
or cons. Susan? What do you think? Anybody else have any thoughts on it?
THANKS.
Maggie
