I am going to the NC 50. I will be a very small fish in a very large pond. Do any of you who have been there have any tips or insight to offer? This could include about the campsite, vet checks, terrain, footing, strategies on the trail or just anything to say about this event. Things like how long the loops were last year, how long were the holds, availability of water on the trail (scoops or sponges?) or even suggestions about best campsite areas...I like to be close to the vetcheck. You can tell me about available amenities too. What you liked or didn't like. Fill me in guys! Thanks.
