Lets call a Spade when we see it. I am a proponent of
Susan and the ROC and Endurance Riders need the ROC. She did not follow
the rules when she changed the date. Even tho i was told by an authority
(who will always be unnamed Deep Throat) it would be denied even before it went
to protest it will not be held this year under AERC Rules. Lets just hope
this controversy sets precedent for future endeavors and RM's follow the Rules
if they wish to have active participation of AERC or FEI or XYX. Have the
ride and the people will follow regardless of any political implications anyone
thinks are involved because of the merit of the event. Where has the fun
