Penny, I'm totally the opposite. The more and more I rode bareback, the
looser and looser I got. I NEVER tried to do any kind of grip-that only
seems to squeeze you up off the back of the horse, and annoys the horse!
When I ride bareback, my legs are totally loose and dangling, and I am
riding totally by balance. THAT is where you will learn seat and
balance....
