My absolute worst "lack of checking the horse out" was the ad I saw several
years ago for the buckskin pinto Arab/mustang registered IAHA, 9 years old,
15 hands. I called the seller, hopped in the car, drove 2 hours, looked
over this horse, that the owner would not get on since she had a bad back
and the horse had not been ridden in 2 years. I sat on her bareback, got
off, made the deal and picked up the horse the next day!! She worked out
just fine!
