Ridecamp: [RC] good news on 15yr. old pinto.arab w/ suspensory

Hi everyone. I want to thank those of you who responded to me about my pinto/arab Sunny. I took him to Dr. Genovese today (he's our local track vet known for being the best leg vet) for a checkup. I thought last week that he was going to have to block him and the whole xray thing and he didn't have to. Sunny was trotting and cantering in the pasture the last few days sound but thought I'd take him in anyway. He was sound as a dollar. The Doc said whatever was bugging him had nothing to do with the suspensory and that it's probably because he has a splint in the same leg. Also, he was trimmed very short 5 weeks ago. So, he's no longer lame. He is still up for sale and I had him advertised in two papers before he came up lame asking $1,700.00.
