Reminds me of my only concussion, many years ago, when the runaway I
was still aboard fell and pitched me to the ground headfirst in front
of him. My friends got me back aboard, but every few minutes I would
look down, see all the blood on my shirt, and ask them "Did I just
have an accident?" A few minutes later I'd ask them again.
We actually rode past a hospital. This was on a military base. I saw
an MP and asked him "Did I just have an accident? I think I should go
into the hospital and have them check me out." Then I changed my mind
and rode on ... only to ask again a short time later "Did I just have
an accident?" I've always wondered why the MP just let me ride on
instead of taking me to the ER (my friends too, for that matter).
