Fw: Larry Osborn

I received this today and thought I would share it...some of you may know Larry and his wife, Cindy.  Being new to distance riding, I don't know them well, but I want to say that Larry seemed to be a fixture at the rides here in Michigan and he always had a smile and a joke and he is one of the reasons I love this sport...he was one of the people at the vet checks that I remember from my very first rides.  I knew NOTHING.  He taught me a lot and never made me feel ignorant!  He was just one of those special people in distance riding that we just figure will always be there.  He will be very sadly missed and I hope if anyone else on Ridecamp who knew him longer and better can add to this, please do.  He deserves to be remembered.   I am also sure that Cindy will appreciate cards and prayers as well.  If anyone has contact info to share, please do.
Maggie

Subject: Larry Osborn

Sad news this morning.  Larry Osborne died early this Am of a heart attach.
Cind got up in the middle of the night and when she returned to bed, Larry
was on her side of the bed.  When she went to move him over, he didn't move.
She called 911 and tried to do CPR on him but he was already gone.

She is with her mom and sister this morning but se will need cards and calls.
She is overwhelmed. She doesn't know what she will do with herself without
Larry as he took care of everything.

FYI
