I'm across the mountain on about the same North/South line as Angie.
There's been a lot more snow than in previous years, which curtails the
riding a little. However, you can get a week here in Feb and March
where it's absolutely beautiful and you can see for miles from the top
of the mountains. Just gotta start off a little cold. Not many
campsites with facilites over here, but there's a few. South Georgia's
nicer weatherwise, but not as purty! If you'r headed there, stop by for
a day and check out Cohutta/Big Frog Wilderness, assuming we get a good
week. Look me up.
