Vet checks: timing and distance between

Hi everybody,
  As a former trail manager I wish to point out that
it is not always possible for the distances to be perfect
between vet checks simply because the terrain does not
allow for it and accesses are not always there every 15 to 20 miles as we
would like. Managers do the best they can do
with the terrain available. Riders need to adapt their game
plans to the ride, if it is 40 miles to the first check, then
ride accordingly. It is a very fortunate ride that is able to have all the
checks spaced out evenly .
