From what we hear from friends down around Auburn, Ride conditions will
be Very Dry and Very Hot.

Jack is doing a 4 day pre-ride this year as he is bring a 9 year old
half arab and half quarter horse that hasn't seen the trail before.

He was a little worried about the American River crossing, but if water
is low he might not have that
hard of a time.   (he can't swim, but the horse can)   hehehehehe
