Well in some cases the winning horse is putting the rider at more risk, as
some horses are competitive enough that they virtually ride their own ride,
the rider is just along as a passenger. And no I do not push my horse (when
I started out in endurance I did 6hr 25 milers :-)) it is more a case of my
horse pushing me!
Sometimes you are lucky enough to own a TRUE endurance horse!
