Trailering in the Desert

Hi Duncan,
 Well, the proofs in the pudding, my horses arrive in great
shape, and remember, I live in a very dry enviroment, so the shavings dry out rather quickly and my trailer is not totally enclosed so it is not a sweatbox type of enviroment. Now , if it
was in the humid east, and the trailer is totally enclosed I can see maybe having a problem with it. But in my experiance ( and a lot of it , I might add ) wetting the shavings and useing ice works exceedingly well for DESERT crossings. Or is it dessert ? HE HE.
