Stallion Laws in Kentucky?
Does anyone know the laws of keeping stallions in Kentucky? I mentioned in
my previous post about the neighbor renting pasture 200 yards from my mares.
I have my mares in tape fenceing with a HOT HOT wire! I also spray and mow
to keep the grass from hitting. I have had one incident of horse getting
out. There was no property damage She was just there waiting for us to put
her back. The Charger had cut off because it was on an outdoor fault outlet
(it will shut off it grounds
out) We moved the charger to an indoor outlet that won't cause it to shut
off if it grounds out. There have been no more incidents. The stallion is in
a single electric wire. Not only is the horse skinny as a rail but I was
told has an abusive owner by the person who rents the pasture out. I am with
the same renter But have mares in a seperate location. The Horse is a
quarter walking horse. Has no breeding qualities. I am concerned that he may
end up in my mares pasture if they are to come into heat! I do not want to
end up having an unwanted mouth to feed! So does anyone have any legal
advice? or What should I do since I am renting from the same person who
leased out the pasture to this ULTIMATE WORLD CLASS STALLION?? (note
sarcasim) I was offered a free breeding to my mare I told the guy I breed
QUALITY not QUANTITY!!! I would rather casterate my mare before she had this
stallions baby!!
the worst part was I was told he wouldn't bother my mare If we came by and
patted his nose.
Oh and to further stir the pot...he wants to be a trainer!!!
YEAH...right..........
carla (wondering if they make condoms for horses?)

Haley (go a head touch me I DARE YOU!!)
rob (consulting a shark?)
