Hi, guys. Yes, it is just a figure of speech. When I say "pulled out his
back teeth" I mean gave him a really hard once-off tug (not a half-halt,
which is a gentle aid) to say "get OFF my f.....g hands!". Didn't make an
ounce of difference.
Have just tried a French snaffle, which seems to be working (low palate - go
figure!). What is a vosal? I won't go severe with him. Its bad schooling
which has done this, not a bad horse. The most I'll do for XC is a
Viennese.
