RE: Equithane or other "Liquid Sole Pad''
The product used on my mare's soles is the Equi-Pak. It remains to be seen
how long it stays put. I suspect that it will vary from horse to horse,
depending on shape of foot, small and concave versus flat soled and wether
it was worked under the inside edge of the shoe well or not. Definitely
easier to apply with two people working at it, one holding the foot up with
the sole as level as possible while the other person applies the very liquid
(in warm weather) goop.
Thanks to everyone who has replied about the usage of Equi-Pak. I'll post
again after I see how well it lasts and holds up in serious rocks.

Recent posts seemed to have the trade names incorrect? Equithane has
Equi-Pak and Equi-Build.The web site info is somewhat ambiguous. What are the
names of the products some of you have had good luck with? What I'm hoping to
find is a product that is put into the cleaned sole anytime after
shoeing, used without a pad,and which will stay in place and cause no harm.
