Re: Gas or Oil out, What is the problem????

Someone posts this forwarded message on
ridecamp,
underneath is my reply and I hope that
everyone
reads and begins to understand why this is
not
a good thing to have posted.

Just who do you think that you are
STICKING IT TO???? Nameless, faceless men
sitting in big
 offices with lots of money????

If the price of oil drops way down it is
not the head of the
oil companies that are going to feel the
pinch. They might
just have to take a couple less vacations
that year, or
maybe not buy that new yacht. It is the
guys on the bottom
who are doing all of the hard work that
are laid off and
given wage cuts. If you do a gas out to
drop the the price
of oil, it is my family and others like us
who you are going
to be sticking it to!!!!!

There are a lot of us very poor people
who
 are very relieved
and happy to see the prices of oil
finally
 coming up. We have
not seen good prices since the 80's and
it
 is about time we
 have some good prices.

The majority of the people in the oil
 industry are the ones
on the bottom. The drillers, the oil
 workers, the guys working
at very hard, dirty and DANGEROUS jobs in
 order to bring up
and process the oil so that you may have
 the comfort of low
gas prices and many other things.

IT IS ABOUT TIME that these guys who have
 worked so hard on
low pay, get something out of it. Not
only
 does the higher oil
prices help a lot of families, but the
 schools in rural ND get
a lot of tax revenue from the oil field,
 the higher prices
encourage drilling which is good for the
 economy. Puts a lot
of out-of-work men, back to work.

PLUS, compared to the rest of the world,
 the US pays some pretty
low prices for gas. So quit your
bellyaching and be happy for the
ones that so desperately need the money
 that the higher prices will
 bring.

I for one am going to buy as much gas as
I
 can on April 7-9. We
have a bigger gas tank sitting empty,
 because we could not afford
to fill it. But now I am going to fill it
 on those days and
encourage everyone I can to buy gas.

So please forward this message on to as
many
people as you can!!!!!! Help save an
endangered
species, the oil field workers!!!!!!

 Lynette in ND
where the two main industries are oil and
 farming and where there
are A LOT of families who are very happy
 to finally see some
good prices for oil, which means work.
