Our stallion, B A Fantizon, has exceeded our expectations. Acquired from Belesemo Arabians in Caldwell, Idaho, Zoni has Crabbet breeding from his sire and Spanish from his dam. He has become the type of horse we feel aspires to a horse described by our slogan. "Zoni" is the type of horse anyone would be happy to own. He has done well in the show arena and has proven himself as a worthy endurance stallion, by winning the 1999 Jim Jones Stallion award. At home, he is as calm as any horse on the ranch yet on the trail he is very enthusiastic and obviously loves being ridden. Because we believe that stallions should socialize with other horses Zoni frequently shares the pastures with the geldings and pregnant mares. He has always been a gentleman. He likes people, and likes the attention we give him.
Our brood mares complement Zoni very well. They too have been performance horses that have shown a willingness on the trails of Colorado and in endurance competition. Occasionally, we still ride them and their enthusiasm still shows.
Thus far Zoni has passed his qualities to his get. The youngsters all have his pleasant, willing and gentle disposition along with his excellent conformation. Working with them has never been a chore. Offspring from outside mares have also shown that Zoni is proving himself to be a stallion that "throws" his type.
