 In conjunction with the 79th birthday celebrations of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman and Visit Malaysia Year 2007, the State Government of Kedah Darul Aman with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia have taken the initiative to jointly organized an Endurance Ride in Bandfar Darulaman, Kedah. The Event is known as Royal Kedah International Invitational Ride 2007. The primary objectives of this event are to promote the sport of endurance riding as well as sports tourism. This inaugural Event is part and parcel of efforts to raise international awareness and interest in the World Endurance Championship 2008 (WEC 2008) which will be held in Terengganu in November 2008.
