HR Monitors

I've been looking at HR Monitors and notice the same model (for example)
the Polar Target for sale in a tack catalogue for $250.00..... the same
model sells in my husband's cycling catalogue (Colorado Cyclist) for
$119.00.  So what am I getting from the tack catalogue version for an
additional $130.00 (more than double the price)? It appears that wire
leads, electrode pads and a transmitter pouch are included in the tack
store price, but that accounts for less than $50 additional if I buy
those separately.  What's the deal?
