Had a similar experience with my stallion on his first 15 mile CTR when he was
3 1/2.  I had been sure to have my kids ride their bikes around him when he
was a baby --- guess it worked.  On the CTR we caught up to some mountain
bikers on a narrow trail.  Tempo pulled to get up right behind the biker --- I
was able to keep him (barely) from literally breathing down the poor bikers
neck, who was a good sport about it.  Tempo had his dam right behind him, so
he couldn't have been lonely --- seemed to be real curious about the wheeled
horse in front of him.
