Homestead Ride - Va

I was asked to post this by a friend who is on the board for Virginia
Trails Riders, Inc.

The Homestead 3-day 100 and 3-day 50 still have openings, especially on
the 100.
The date is April 5-8, in Hot Springs, VA.  You can stay at the
Homestead Resort or at another nearby facility.  All horses are stalled
at the Homestead.
The 100 is split 40-40-20 miles each day.
The ride is not sanctioned but is run very similar to ECTRA rides.
There are 2 vet judges and it is a very well organized event.
(You may have seen it referenced recently in Paul Mellon's obit because
he won it 3 times.)
