there are a lot of pads available for riders. I just use
plain pads, my blacksmith prefers leather, he feels
there more flexible. They do not stand up as well as
the black rubbery, plasticey ones. To keep him happy
half way through riding season I will use leather once.
Then go back to the others.
I can't tell you how many different kinds of pads I have
seen riders using.
