I have two border collies that LOVE to ride with me.  The veterinarian said
that they are ideal dogs to do long distance training with as they require
strenuous exercise.  They run twice as far as the horses and I, up and back,
up and back all day long, often at top speed after some scent no doubt one
of them has found.  The amazing part is after a 30 mile ride they still want
to play ball!
