Hi David,  The number for the appy club is (208) 882-5578  it is in Moscow,
Idaho. Some one there should be able to help you out.  Their distance riding
program is definately one you should look into its fun and rewarding.  You
might also look at your local equine trade magazines too and some of the
horsey classifieds.  Im not sure where you live but there are appaloosas
everywhere!!  You might even try speaking to the distance riding director at
the appy club too.  She might be able to hook you up with an appy distance
