Has to do with a lot of different traits--how the foot hits the ground (how
they travel in general), how determined the horse is (some are wimps), how the
foot is innervated, how they were brought up, etc. One always has to look at
the whole picture, even when there is one trait (such as the flat soles) that
one would think of as undesirable...
