Teddy - what Duncan meant is that if you click on an .exe attachment to
open it, it will cause the virus to execute - depending on the sadistic
tendencies of the hacker that created the virus, you may or may not see
anything at all, or be aware of anything happening.

If you don't click on an attachment (or don't have your browser set to
automatically open attachments), it *can't* start infecting your
machine.  This is true of all email attachment viruses - if you receive
an email from someone (even someone you know and trust!) with an
attachment of any name -- if it ends with the .exe extension  IT COULD
BE A VIRUS!  Just say no by not clicking on it!  Very simple
prevention!  If you think it might be an important attachment, *ask* the
person who sent it if they actually meant to send it, and also have it
checked out by a virus program before opening it.  Lif
