Re: RC: Tying up
Dear Barbara;
My older mare, Teza, had a chronic history of tying up. She finally
went right when I took alfalfa out of her diet and fed her bermuda grass
exclusively. Now that she's not competing and she is out on five plus
hilly acres, she can tolerate a bit of alfalfa, but still gets primarily
forage and good oat hay, some beet pulp.
