>Me, too, Truman. For me, a limited ability to take on sodium complicates it, too. The drink that keeps me going is cold milk--which would absolutely nauseate many others. I seem to need the calcium, but less sugars and no sodium, thank you.< Water is the only thing that I can get down during a ride, and then on only small sips. Sport type drinks make me sick even without excersise. I'm working on little bites of food, but am still having a hard time with it. So naturally I'm beat at the end of a long day in the saddle. But like the 'soldier boy', pasta works the night before to carry me over. But would love to hear other's suggestions for a good diet during the ride. Would love to eat something that would not sit like a rock or cause painful burps. Hmm - Haven't tried pasta in my take along bag.
