Water vs Carbos
OK, Tom says 6% is an ideal solution concentration - and Truman & Heidi
point out that for humans, what is good for the goose isn't necessarily
good for the duck. So this might be true for horses as well, right?
That what you put in your 6% solution (assuming 6% strength is going to
be about right for them, too) may vary from horse to horse.
Next question: I thought the CarboCharge mixture was pretty thick -
what is different about it so that it is not given to the horse in a 6%
solution? And would it be better to be giving electrolytes in the 6%
solution as well (lots of water to haul around!)
And finally, my big question is how to discover what's perfect for each
of *my* horses, without waiting to find out during an actual race, and
also, more important for people like me, without special (expensive)
equipment. Is there some sort of protocol I could implement? Lif
