Connie, it sounds wonderful.  Driving (with a safe horse) can be so much fun. 
 We had a great QH/TB cross gelding many years ago and he was a lovely 
driving horse.  A moonlight drive would be Heaven.  We didn't ride in the 
moonlight, but we got up at 5:15 this morning and went for a walk in the 
hills and woods.  It was so bright we could almost see color.  Second best to 
a ride on a special horse.
