1)  The respiratory infection likely was not painful, nor was it likely by 
itself to skew any of the parameters we usually evaluate at rides if it was 
just coming on.
2)  Sounds like he did his best to take care of himself by being sluggish, 
etc.  (Stallions are notorious for that...)
3)  Some horses are endowed with fabulous cardiovascular systems that take a 
lot more "insult" to be upset than others.  Get him well and keep him in your 
breeding program!
