RC: who cares about trails
Those comments about "so what if access is closed on some of the more rugged
trails..."
is exactly why Connie Berto said you all need a representative going to all
meetings and to Washington DC. This year we (The American Hiking Society,
Heritage Trails, Back Country Horsemen and other organizations although not
enough are equestrians) are hiking the Hill for Trails. March 12 through
15. Now, I hope Connie Berto decides to go again to advocate trails for
AERC, but any of you can volunteer. Your organization SHOULD SPEND THEIR
TRAILS FUND ON THIS ONCE A YEAR EFFORT TO SPEAK TO THE LAWMAKERS ABOUT YOUR
TRAILS. THEY DESIGNATE THE WILDERNESS AREAS AND EVERYTHING ELSE TO DO WITH
TRAILS.
